our story
McDingerz Sports Bar & Grill is a family-owned restaurant that opened in 2019, inspired by our love of sports and our passion for bringing people together. The name "McDingerz" comes from a favorite family memory - our daughter's competitive softball days and her dad's trademark phrase, "Hit a McDinger!" Paired with our last name, McKenney, and topped with a little extra flare, the name captures who we are: fun, energetic, and rooted in family tradition.
Today, we proudly employ around 45 team members, many of them local youth who bring enthusiasm and heart to every shift. Our guests come for the food but stay for the atmosphere — a lively space filled with community, conversation, and nonstop sports action. At McDingerz, it's all about good food, great company, and celebrating the love of the game together.
